Layer and Mask

This operator is an advanced version of the clone stamp tool. It allows for masking between two copies of the same texture, making it especially useful for aperiodic textures. Aperiodic textures don’t have a repeating pattern and may appear random at first, but they aren’t random enough to appear seamless. In such cases, this operator enables you to easily mask over the edges of the offset texture, effectively hiding the seams and creating a more seamless appearance.
